Job summary

Insitu is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst specializing in Risk Management for a 12-month contract in the United States. You will protect systems, applications, and personnel, driving governance, risk, and compliance across the enterprise.

You will plan and deploy security controls, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response while engaging stakeholders and maintaining NIST 800-171 compliance. Hybrid onsite occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in information security.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance practices.
• Experience with NIST 800-171, DFARS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
• Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and upgrade security controls aligned with standards.
• Lead risk assessments and remediation activities across systems.
• Coordinate security architecture and incident response efforts.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to assess risk.
• Monitor logs, analyze threats, and respond to incidents.
• Develop security awareness training and governance documentation.
