Job summary

Insitu, located in Bingen, WA, seeks a strategic and hands-on Manager of Information Security to advance our security posture and risk management across the organization. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into architecture, and champion a security‑minded culture that aligns with business goals.

The role focuses on threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and third-party risk, with hybrid on-site work and ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, or risk management experience.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NACs, EDR, DNS, DLP, IAM.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to all audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security and cyber strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while ensuring regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Oversee security operations including threat intelligence, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Maintain and enforce security frameworks and policies such as NIST CSF, RMF, and CMMC.
• Guide selection and management of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, encryption).
• Lead third-party cybersecurity risk management, vendor assessments, and SOC report analyses.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and tabletop exercises.
• Lead security audits, exams, and regulatory readiness efforts.
