Job summary

Insitu in Bingen, WA is seeking a Manager of Information Security to advance our security posture and resilience across the enterprise. You will lead cross-functional teams, align security initiatives with business goals, and drive risk-based decisions while communicating with executives.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in information security, with hands-on experience in firewalls, SIEM, and cloud/security architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, or risk management experience.
• Hands-on expertise with common security technologies (e.g., Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NACs, EDR tools, DNS, DLP, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure (on-prem and cloud), networking, and emerging technologies.
• Experience in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, or government.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security and cyber strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee information security operations, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Maintain security frameworks and regulatory readiness (NIST CSF, RMF, CMMC).
• Guide selection and management of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, encryption).
• Lead vulnerability management initiatives and third-party cybersecurity risk management.
