Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking an Information Security Compliance Senior Associate to join the Global Information Security Risk & Resilience team. The role focuses on PCI-DSS compliance, AI governance, risk management, and data analytics to strengthen security posture.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to process improvements, and work with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes independence in moderately complex tasks, with guidance from the Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Information Security compliance, governance, risk management, IT audit, or consulting.
• Solid understanding of CIS CSC Top 18 and NIST CSF 2.0, with awareness of PCI-DSS for retail operations.
• Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks including NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PCI-DSS compliance across Newell Brands by coordinating control assessments and evidence collection.
• Contribute to NIS2 program for EU operations and assist CCPA audit readiness.
• Design and maintain a scalable, risk-based compliance framework and monitor metrics for leadership.
• Coordinate across teams to manage data identification, collection, processing, and review.
• Provide AI governance input into enterprise AI programs and assess AI tool compliance.
