Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Cyber Security Senior Manager, Incident Response to lead end-to-end response coordination for high-severity incidents across our global environment, serving as the primary Incident Commander under CSIRP.

This hands-on leadership role blends IR expertise with security engineering and operational judgment to guide detection engineering, automation, and continuous improvement of the Security Operations Center, while partnering with Legal, IT, and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cyber security experience with at least 6 years in IR or Security Operations.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional response teams and incident command for high-severity incidents.
• Hands-on expertise in security engineering, automation and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Incident Commander for CSIRP and lead cross-functional incident response activities.
• Develop and improve detection engineering content and automation within the SOC.
• Oversee day-to-day Security Operations, align with executives on incident status and business impact.
