Job summary

SummitLogic in Las Vegas is seeking an Information Security Analyst to protect the company’s data and systems from cyber threats and support a strong security posture.

The role involves audits, policy development, network monitoring, and incident response. Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in information security are required; CISSP/CISA/CISM certifications and cloud experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security.
• Knowledge of network security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR or other compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and protocols.
• Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior or attacks.
• Respond to security incidents and provide remediation recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information security.
