Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an IT Team Leader to directly manage a team of software developers, guiding a portfolio of application development projects. You will balance delivery with people leadership, set direction, coach team members, and conduct performance reviews.

You will lead planning, deployment, and ongoing support, provide technical guidance, and partner with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions while improving team effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 10 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience, including formal performance reviews.
• Experience leading multiple software development projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to turn business needs into clear plans for a development team.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment a plus.
• Clear communication, sound prioritization, and a leadership style that combines support with accountability.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
