Job summary

Widen the Net | B Corp™ is seeking a regional IT Support Manager/IT Operations Manager to lead a growing IT support team across multiple offices, delivering hands-on leadership in a cross-platform environment (Windows, Mac, Linux) and modern IT tools. You will mentor seven direct reports, drive service quality, ownership, and documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes.

This is a 12-month contract role with on-site responsibilities in New York and a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as IT support manager or IT operations manager with hands-on duties.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and Mac OS, networking, Google Workspace, and MDM.
• Experience in automation using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Willingness to work hands-on and support teammates, with accountability for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop seven direct reports across IT support and service delivery.
• Set clear expectations for IT service, technical quality, ticket ownership, documentation and follow-through.
• Act as a senior hands-on regional lead for assigned offices and lead support for mixed OS environments.
• Utilize automation to improve internal tools and processes.

IT Support Manager / IT Operations Manager / IT Support Technical Lead (Hands-on regional lead/manager role)

They are looking for a regional IT support manager/technical lead to lead and develop the technical support team:

• Lead, coach, and develop seven direct reports across IT support and service delivery
• Set clear expectations for IT service, technical quality, ticket ownship, documentation and follow-through, share knowledge;
• Act as a senior point of contact/hands-on leader for assigned regional offices, lead support for mixed Windows, Mac and Linux OS, Google Workspace, Jira, Okta, Slack, Confluence, network, JAMF
• Automation and scripting using Powershell, bash or Python to develop and improve internal tools

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience working as IT support manager or IT operations manager with previous experience working as IT support/service desk
• Working knowledge in Windows OS and Mac OS, networking, Google Workspace, MDM, etc.
• Experience in automation such as powershell or python or bash
• Willingness to work hands-on, support teammates, take accountability for difficult outcomes

Initially 12 months full time contract and will extend yearly. W2 employer contract offering hourly rate of $40 to $45 (40 hours per week) plus 50% contribution to medical plan and federal public holidays as PTOs. 5 days on site in New York.
