About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is for 3 positions as a Information Technology Specialist (Customer Support) for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Install computer hardware and operating system software on local networks; troubleshoot software, hardware, and network connectivity failures to restore user functionality; document technical support issues and resolutions in a tracking database; and instruct non-technical users on basic system functions and software applications. My specialized experience includes, or was supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the competencies as defined:

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
