Job summary

Flexicrew Technical Services in New Orleans, LA is seeking an IT Manager to oversee day-to-day technology needs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day IT needs, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including laptop setup, imaging, provisioning, user accounts, software, permissions, and equipment recovery.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes for employee equipment, device deployment, inventory, and asset management.
  • Manage laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot servers, networks, cloud-based systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, licensing, permissions, password resets, and related applications.
  • Manage CCTV/camera systems, building access technology, alarm systems, and other technology-related security systems.
  • Perform basic cabling, wiring, workstation installation, monitor setup, and equipment configuration.
  • Set up and support conference rooms, TVs, displays, computers, and AV equipment for meetings and company events.
  • Manage technology purchasing, equipment replacement, inventory, and lifecycle planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of company technology assets and assigned equipment.
  • Manage relationships with IT service providers, software providers, technology vendors, and other third-party partners.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot issues involving business software, cloud-based systems, portals, and integrations.
  • Evaluate recurring technology issues and develop practical solutions rather than relying solely on equipment replacement.
  • Establish IT procedures, documentation, standards, and best practices where formal processes do not currently exist.
  • Assist employees with basic technology functions and provide patient, easy-to-understand instruction to users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology utilization, efficiency, and reliability throughout the organization.
  • Independently prioritize and manage IT projects, support requests, vendor issues, and ongoing technology initiatives.

New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an IT Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day technology needs of a growing organization. This is a hands-on, in-office position for someone who can independently manage IT operations, troubleshoot issues, support employees with varying levels of technical experience, and develop processes and standards as the organization continues to modernize its technology.

Requirements/Skills:
  • Previous experience independently managing or supporting an organization's IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with desktop and laptop setup, imaging, provisioning, troubleshooting, and device management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and licensing.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM), asset management, and employee onboarding/offboarding procedures.
  • Working knowledge of servers, networking, cloud-based environments, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with CCTV/camera systems, access control, alarm systems, or similar technology preferred.
  • Experience with cabling, wiring, workstation setup, docking stations, monitors, and related hardware.
  • Experience supporting AV equipment, conference rooms, TVs/displays, and meeting technology.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and purchasing hardware, software, and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine root causes before recommending replacement equipment.
  • Ability to build processes, procedures, documentation, and IT standards from the ground up.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the IT function without requiring day-to-day technical supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient and comfortable explaining technology in straightforward, non-technical terms to employees with varying levels of computer experience.
  • Organized, responsive, resourceful, and capable of balancing immediate support needs with longer-term IT projects.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site in an office environment on a daily basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work around desks, workstations, server/network equipment, and technology installations.
  • Ability to lift, carry, install, and move computers, monitors, AV equipment, and other standard IT hardware.
  • Ability to perform basic cabling and equipment installations as needed.
