Minnesota State System Office seeks an Information Technology Spec 3 - Identity and Access Management Specialist to manage employee digital identities across the full lifecycle, from recruitment to separation. You will implement identity, authentication, and authorization actions driven by ERP systems, collaborating with HR, Payroll, IT, and security to ensure compliant access.
Preferred candidates understand IAM concepts, data integration, and incident management.
This position supports the secure, accurate, and timely management of employee digital identities throughout the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and hire through job changes, leave events, and separation. The role focuses on identity data integration and access provisioning driven by the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure employees have appropriate access to systems, applications, and data needed to perform their roles. The IAM Specialist works closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology, and security teams to translate employee lifecycle events into identity, authentication, and authorization actions that support institutional operations, compliance requirements, and security standards.
