• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
• IA Level: IAT II 8570.01-M Baseline Certification.
• Google Cloud Platform certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect).
• One of the following Amazon Web Services certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Work Experience Mandatory

• 10 years of systems engineering experience.

Experience and Knowledge in

Work Experience Nice to Have

• Five (5) years hands‑on experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems.
• Three (3) years designing, architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructures.
• Project management experience leading cloud infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Communication skills for negotiating and explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

• Experience with Oracle, SQL, and other enterprise database management systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Serves as a Management Information System (MIS) manager. Designs, develops, and manages implementation of a risk assessment and business contingency planning framework to ensure business continuity across a large, multi‑division, decentralized organization. Supports multi‑language, multi‑platform, and multi‑operating‑system operations, utilizing electronic commerce and EDI applications. Recognizes and recommends new or emerging technology or software solutions to fulfill functional requirements. Provides highly technical guidance concerning automation solutions to complex information processing problems. Provides customer support using enterprise solutions software to integrate business areas, consistent with today’s technology to operate in an open systems environment and client‑service architectures. Analyzes data processing requirements to plan EDP systems, prepares system capabilities for projected workloads, plans layout and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. Deploys new applications using Internet standards to enable wide access from diverse client types found throughout the public Internet. Integrates network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, routed networks, frame relay, static and dynamic routing, token ring, Ethernet, CISCO, 3COM, troubleshooting, polling, and discovery.
