Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a security-focused professional to support federal government commitments. The role centers on maintaining secure information systems posture, monitoring networks for vulnerabilities, and enforcing RMF/NIST 800-53 compliant processes.

Ideal candidates will have TS/SCI with polygraph, advanced degrees or equivalent experience, and IAM Tier 1 certification. The position offers diverse contract locations across Maryland and neighboring states and a strong retirement/benefits

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Associate degree plus 7 years or high school/GED plus 9 years may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
• Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct security non-compliance and vulnerabilities.
• Follow consistent security processes and participate in the information systems continuous monitoring program.
• Perform regular audits of information systems.
• Assist the information systems security manager in preparing for reaccreditation.

Capabilities

• Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
• Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks.
• Follow consistent security processes and play a role in the information systems continuous monitoring program.
• Perform regular audits of information systems.
• Assist the information systems security manager in preparing for periodic reaccreditation.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polyBachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.
• An Associate's degree or 18 semesters hours of military coursework/training in a computer-related field plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.

Desired Technical Skills

• Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture
• Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Range: $47.95 - $110.26 per hour* Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
