The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department, supported by 28 talented team members and a FY 2026/27 budget of $25.3 million, provides the technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, GIS, and support essential to City operations and service delivery.
The City seeks a strategic, forward-thinking technology executive to build upon a strong technology foundation and lead Fremont’s continued evolution as a modern, technology-enabled organization. This collaborative and credible leader will bring broad experience with both infrastructure and enterprise systems and will be a trusted, customer-focused partner throughout the organization.
Ideal candidates will bring seven years of progressively responsible information technology experience, including three years of supervisory and/or management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
