As the eastern anchor of the Silicon Valley centrally located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the City of Fremont (pop. 233,974) is the region’s fourth-largest city and an increasingly vibrant center of innovation, culture, and community life. The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department, supported by 28 talented team members and a FY 2026/27 budget of $25.3 million, provides the technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, GIS, and support essential to City operations and service delivery.

This collaborative and credible leader will bring broad experience with both infrastructure and enterprise systems and will be a trusted, customer-focused partner throughout the organization.
Ideal candidates will bring seven years of progressively responsible information technology experience, including three years of supervisory and/or management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
