Job description

Responsibilities

As part of the service delivery team, your responsibility is to ensure client deliverables with respect to security components are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with the Customer Security teams.
  • Driving closure of all audits (internal or customer Security Audits) with a minimum of non-conformances (NCs).
  • Working with internal and external technical teams to drive closure of any vulnerabilities, providing technical guidance if required. This includes O/S-based cases up to applications hosted on these platforms.
  • Ensuring best practices are implemented across the platforms.
  • Ensuring that security-based SLAs are met.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in core information security as a team member/lead.
  • Candidate should have worked in operational and/or consulting and/or auditing roles.
  • Graduate in Science and/or Engineering, preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Practical knowledge of application, database, operating system (Unix and Windows), virtualization, and network security:
    • Design and review secure architecture as per client’s requirement.
    • Ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of information at all levels.
    • Implement hardening standards at each level.
    • Extensive knowledge of firewalls, UTMs, IPS, WAF, and associated technologies.
    • Integration of elements with SIEM and its management.
    • Management of anti-malware and data leakage prevention technologies.
    • Act as an expert in mitigation/closure of vulnerabilities in each system.
    • Exception management.
  • Experience in implementation of security controls as per industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and PCI DSS:
    • Ensure best practices are included in call center operations management.
    • Prepare and implement processes in sync with standards and client’s requirements.
    • Maintain documentation as per Statement of Work (SoW).
  • Management of internal and external security audits.
  • Experience in dealing with global customers:
    • Act as a single point of contact for all security-related matters.
    • Interact proactively with clients.
    • Take approvals wherever necessary.
  • Experience in dealing with global operations teams:
    • Capability to guide operations teams for mitigation/closure of vulnerabilities in systems.
    • Support teams in implementing security systems.
  • Perform risk assessment and recommend/guide management for continual improvements in the overall security stance of the project.
  • Possess skills to impart information security awareness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must have experience in handling various security tools for Vulnerability Assessment.
  • Additional Information

  • Work in normal office hours.

Essential Education/Qualification

  • Postgraduate in Science and/or Engineering, preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Experience in telecom and/or call center domain(s).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
