Job Title - Senior IT Project Manager
Location - Remote in the US
Role Type - 1-year contract
Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of IT project/program management experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise programs with multimillion-dollar budgets.
- Experience delivering technology programs in secure, highly regulated environments, ideally within government, defense, utilities, energy, healthcare, financial services, or similar environments.
- Strong program governance, risk, controls, compliance, and audit experience, including RAID management, governance reviews, compliance assessments, and audit readiness.
- Proven leadership of complex, cross-functional enterprise technology programs spanning infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, business teams, vendors, and multiple workstreams.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, including communicating program health, risks, dependencies, financials, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale enterprise technology programs within secure, regulated, and compliance-driven environments.
- Own program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, resources, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
- Establish and maintain program governance structures, steering committees, executive reporting, controls, and delivery standards.
- Coordinate across business leadership, IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, compliance teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Manage programs involving secure networks, controlled environments, protected information, cybersecurity requirements, and access controls.
- Oversee vendor SOWs, contractual deliverables, service performance, and adherence to applicable security and governance requirements.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks while maintaining RAID documentation and supporting compliance assessments and audit readiness.
- Utilize Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies to successfully deliver complex enterprise technology initiatives.
- Drive executive-level communication regarding program health, financial performance, dependencies, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Experience with ERP, Cloud, Infrastructure Modernization, Cybersecurity, and/or Digital Transformation programs is preferred.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification and exposure to compliance frameworks such as NIST or CMMC are preferred.
