Job summary

Evertec Group, LLC is seeking an IT Project Manager in Puerto Rico to lead high-complexity programs with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. You will create and execute work plans, assign duties, and coordinate resources across teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field, 5+ years in IT Project Management, PMP certification, and fluency in English and Spanish.

• PMP Certification required.
• Solid knowledge of waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated high complexity project or program within scope, schedule, budget, quality and client satisfaction.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed; assign duties and scope of authority.
• Identify resources, staff projects, and coordinate recruitment or assignments; provide technical guidance.
• Monitor and control project execution; track hours and expenses; report progress to stakeholders.

As IT Project Manager your responsibilities will be:

• Plans, direct, and coordinate activities of designated high complexity project or program to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Identify resources needed, assign staffing for each phase of project, and request for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Monitor and control project execution. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly and or a monthly basis. Follow up with clients, when necessary.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

In addition, you can make a difference if you meet:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field
• At least five (5) years of experience IT Project Management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• PMP Certification required
• Solid knowledge and experience following project management industry best practices for waterfall, agile, and hybrid projects, as needed
• Previous experience managing high budgets and long-term projects.
• Ability to analyze complex problems.The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Customer service oriented.
• Oral Communication (Spanish and English): demonstrate exceptional presentation skills.

Work hours

Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Available to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed, and the availability to travel as required, supporting projects in the region.
