Role Description:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering IT projects across the USCAN region, supporting both Manufacturing (plant/shop-floor/operations) and Customer-focused initiatives (customer experience, commercial enablement, and customer-facing process/technology improvements). The role leads projects end-to-end from initiation through closeout, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction while adhering to IT PMO governance and compliance standards. The Project Manager maintains project artifacts and reporting in enterprise portfolio tools (e.g., Daptiv PPM) and enables adoption and value realization.
- Own the full project lifecycle: initiate, plan, execute, deploy/go-live, stabilize (as needed), and close.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery cadence across workstreams.
- Lead cross-functional teams (IT, business, data/analytics, and vendors) in a matrix environment; drive accountability and remove blockers.
- Facilitate project routines (working sessions, standups, steering/operating forums) with clear agendas, decisions, and follow-ups.
- Scope, Schedule, Cost, and Quality Management
- Define project scope, objectives, success measures, roles, and key deliverables in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Maintain project schedule, budget estimates/forecasts, and status reporting; manage changes through disciplined change control.
- Coordinate release planning and rollout activities (as applicable) and ensure operational readiness for cutover.
- Track progress against milestones and quality expectations; identify and drive corrective actions when performance deviates.
- Governance, Tooling & Documentation
- Promote and enforce IT PMO methodology, required artifacts, and stage-gate expectations; keep documentation audit-ready.
- Maintain accurate project data and evidence in portfolio/project tools (e.g., Daptiv PPM) and project repositories (e.g., SharePoint).
- Capture and manage key decisions, actions, and change requests using appropriate logs (decision/action/RAID).
- Risk, Issue, Dependency, and Stakeholder Management
- Proactively manage RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions), mitigation plans, and escalation paths to protect business continuity.
- Identify cross-project dependencies and coordinate with impacted teams to keep commitments aligned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience delivering cross-functional initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Recent experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of structured project delivery methods; familiarity with Agile/iterative delivery practices.
- Strong skills in planning, prioritization, problem solving, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks/issues, and change control.
