We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of critical IT projects, helping them deliver on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is ideal for a professional who can think strategically, solve problems, operationalize tasks, drive execution, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will manage end-to-end projects within our IT PMO for Standex Electronics, which has global locations.
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for working directly with multiple stakeholders across a portfolio of IT initiatives to intake requirements, create project materials, track progress, manage scope/budget, and close projects successfully.
What You’ll Do
- Intake project requirements and develop project charters.
- Manage/define project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource needs.
- Facilitate requirements, coordinate tasks, and remove roadblocks of the project plan.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Maintain RAID logs and drive timely resolutions.
- Control scope through a change management process.
- Provide clear, timely project updates and status reporting.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure ongoing alignment.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
- Track project spend, forecast costs, and report variances.
- Coordinate internal/external resources and
escalate gaps when needed.
- Ensure deliverables meet requirements, architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Support testing, deployment readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
- Follow PMO processes, templates, and governance.
- Contribute lessons learned and help improve PMO practices.
- Strong understanding of a variety of IT topics, such as: IT infrastructure (e.g. network upgrades, cloud migrations), identity/access management, endpoint security, IoT, AI enablement, application modernization/standardization. Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and data migration.
- Familiarity with manufacturing business processes and Industry 4.0.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior leadership and a wide variety of audiences. Good listener.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of IT project management experience.
- Proficiency with project portfolio tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% during peak project periods
