Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives that align with our strategic goals. You will manage multiple IT projects from planning through implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent client-facing, interpersonal, and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of IT projects.
  • Coordinate departments, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Ensure projects meet time, scope, and budget targets.
  • Allocate resources and manage competing priorities across projects.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership with key metrics.
  • Identify risks, mitigate, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Create process maps, workflows, and status reports.
  • Collaborate to implement process improvements and tech solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks based on skills and workload.
  • Track milestones for short- and long-term objectives.
  • Escalate issues and recommend leadership solutions.
  • Promote continuous improvement through PM best practices.

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals. This role is responsible for managing multiple IT projects from planning through implementation while coordinating cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate is an organized, results-driven professional with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of IT projects.
  • Coordinate internal departments, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage competing priorities across multiple project
  • Monitor project performance using key metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage project changes related to scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
