Job Description
Insight Global's client, a global cruise and hospitality company, is seeking a Project Analyst to support its IT design team during new ship builds. This is a junior, hands‑on coordination role focused on the physical side of IT infrastructure: understanding what each device needs for data, power, and connectivity, and making sure it is documented and tracked. The role is about coordination and follow‑through, not configuring devices or managing applications. You'll work closely with engineers, internal teams, and vendors, so persistence and curiosity matter as much as technical knowledge.
Day to Day/Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with internal teams, engineers, and vendors to gather requirements and close open items (around 40% of the role)
- Translate requests, such as a new workstation, into specific device, data, and power requirements
- Coordinate and track IT design requirements, deliverables, schedules, action items, and open issues
- Maintain clear documentation, including requirements, meeting notes, decisions, and trackers
- Track design files as they are distributed, converted, and returned
- Review drawings, specifications, and project information for missing or conflicting details
- Support infrastructure planning such as equipment locations, rack space, power, and connectivity
- Build presentations and documentation using tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Learn and apply the organization's technical standards, processes, and tools
