Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Senior UX Program Manager in the Peoria IL or Chicago, IL area to enhance Engineering UX Design Operations. You will lead planning, tracking, and reporting, collaborating with Design, Research, Product Management, Platform, and Engineering to scale design efforts and improve throughput and quality.

This role requires 8+ years of UX/PM experience and strong tools knowledge (Figma, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Aha!).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of successful experience as a UX Producer or Program/Project Manager, Engineering Program/Project Manager leading large projects through the full product development life cycle.

Job Description

The Client Digital User Experience team seeks a Senior UX Program Manager to enhance Engineering UX Design Operations by leading initiatives that improve design throughput, consistency, quality, and transparency. Reporting to the Manager of Program Management, you will be responsible for implementing planning, tracking, and reporting mechanisms. You will collaborate with design teams to adopt design processes and guidelines and strengthen connections across product teams. Your role involves working with Design, Research, Product Management, Platform and Engineering teams to establish scalable approaches that amplify design efforts.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

• As a Senior UX Program Manager, you will operate with a high degree of independence and ownership in areas where program strategy is still being defined.
• Your knowledge and experience in product, software, and user experience design will inform your decisions.
• You have successfully established and managed various design-related processes, resources, and programs that have yielded measurable results.

Education & Experience Required:

• Experience a must with the following tools (e.g., Figma, Azure Dev Ops Confluence and Aha!).
• Experience with resource planning and program delivery
• Experience working with project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, and establishing communication plans
