Job summary

MS Shift, Inc. is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to own internal IT operations, support databases, QA, and technical support for a fast-growing global SaaS platform in the hospitality space.

You will be in the systems, in the data, and in the releases, leading a technical team and coordinating with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success. The role requires onsite work in NYC with hybrid flexibility and a strong track record in SaaS IT management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Operations / IT Management (SaaS preferred).
• At least 5 years managing technical teams (IT, Support, QA, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and MySQL.
• Experience doing manual QA in a SaaS environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, databases, and systems.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, startup-style environments.
• Able to work onsite in NYC (hybrid flexibility).

Responsibilities

• Own internal IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user support.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and device management.
• Support and maintain SQL Server databases (backups, restores, performance, access).
• Perform manual QA testing for SaaS releases (regression, smoke, release validation).
• Validate database changes, stored procedures, and data integrity.
• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for internal teams and customer escalations.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on incidents and releases.
• Support security and compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise reviews).
• Help scale IT, QA, and Support processes as the company grows.

MS SHIFT is a fast-growing global SaaS platform for the hospitality industry, trusted by leading hotel brands worldwide. We’re looking for a hands-on IT Manager to own internal IT operations while supporting databases, QA, and technical support in a high-growth environment.

This is not a passive role — you’ll be in the systems, in the data, and in the releases.
