Job summary

BETE in Greenfield, MA is seeking an on-site Manager of Information Technology to lead manufacturing and office IT. You’ll drive day-to-day IT operations, oversee ERP and business systems, strengthen cybersecurity, and mentor the IT team.

You’ll collaborate with the Director of Digital Transformation on strategic technology initiatives, balance urgent support with long-term improvements, and ensure reliable, secure networks and processes across plant and office.

Qualifications

• Five or more years IT experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar operating environment.
• Experience leading people, projects, vendors, or outside IT providers.
• ERP and business applications experience; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and user support.
• Clear communication, practical judgment, and the ability to balance urgent support needs with longer‑term improvements.

Responsibilities

Location: Greenfield, MA | On-site

BETE is seeking an IT Manager to lead the technology that keeps our manufacturing operations and office teams running. This is an opportunity for a hands‑on leader who enjoys solving daily challenges, developing an IT team, and improving how people use technology across the business.

As BETE’s senior on‑site technology leader, you will work with employees across the plant and office while partnering with the Director of Digital Transformation on broader technology priorities.

What you’ll do

• Lead day‑to‑day IT support, infrastructure, business systems, and technology projects.
• Support our ERP system and work with teams to improve workflows in production, inventory, purchasing, finance, and customer service.

What you’ll bring

• Five or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar operating environment.
• Experience leading people, projects, vendors, or outside IT providers.
• ERP and business application experience; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and user support.
• Clear communication, practical judgment, and the ability to balance urgent support needs with longer‑term improvements.

A related degree is preferred, and an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. This role requires regular on‑site presence in both office and manufacturing areas, with occasional support outside normal business hours.
