Coast360fcu seeks an IT Executive to manage operational IT for a credit union, directing teams across applications, servers and networks while ensuring security, regulatory compliance and reliable services.

SUMMARY:
Manages the operational aspects of the Credit Union’s Information Technology. Oversees and directs the day to day IT operations ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of systems, services and infrastructure. Leads the team which is responsible for developing and implementing applications, servers and networks, responding to help desk requests and monitoring system stability and performance, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and alignment with the Credit Union’s objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following job functions. Other job functions may be assigned from time to time. The job functions contained herein are intended to be supplemented by “Strategic Planning Goals” which describe various individual tasks associated with such functions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees in Information Technology department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the credit union's policies and applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, recommending for hire and termination; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A high school or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required; plus five years experience at a mid-management level in technology planning and budgeting, SQL, telecommunications, networking, programming, and PC operating systems; or any equivalent combination of formal training and/or experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities thereof.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common and intricate inquiries or complaints from members, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to executive management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of financial management. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations involved in job functions and practices.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Valid Driver’s License.
