Warren County is seeking an experienced IT Director to own the county's IT environment and collaborate with Finance and Administration to set priorities and strategic direction. The role leads day-to-day operations, security, and long-term planning for the county's IT systems, servers, and desktops, ensuring reliable services for 165 employees across 25 servers and 220 desktops and laptops.

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field, or equivalent (10–15 years) IT experience.
• Experience managing and supporting an organization's IT environment.
• Experience with network and server administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity, backups, and user administration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based environments and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs, IAM, and cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and develop practical solutions.
• Experience managing IT vendors, projects, budgets, and technology implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PositionSummary:

• Warren County is seeking an experienced and highly capable IT DirectortotakeownershipoftheCounty'soverallinformationtechnologyenvironmentandworkdirectlywiththeFinanceandAdministrationDirector.
• This position will serve as the County's primary technology leader and will be responsible for the day-to-dayoperation,security,reliability,maintenance,andlong-termplanningoftheCounty'sITsystems.
• ThesuccessfulcandidatewillbeexpectedtounderstandtheCounty'stechnologyenvironmentasawhole,identifyandaddressvulnerabilitiesanddeficiencies,establishappropriatepoliciesandprocedures,managetechnologyprojectsandvendors,andensurethatcountydepartmentshavethetechnologyandsupportnecessarytoperformtheirworkeffectively.
• This is an ownershipposition. The County is seeking an individual who can independently assess the existing IT environment, establish priorities, solve problems, plan for future needs, and be accountable for the overall health and security of the County's technology infrastructure to include 165 employees, 25 servers and 220 desktops and laptops.

MinimumQualifications:

• Demonstratedexperiencemanagingandsupportinganorganization'sITenvironment.
• Demonstrated experience with network administration, server administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity, backups, and user administration.
• StrongknowledgeofMicrosoft-basedenvironmentsandMicrosoft365.
