Job summary

Warren County is seeking an experienced Information Technology Director to take ownership of the County's information technology environment and work directly with the Finance and Administration Director.

The IT Director will serve as the County's primary technology leader and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, reliability, maintenance, and long-term planning of the County's IT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent with 10–15 years of IT experience.
• Experience managing and supporting an organiza tion's IT environment.
• Experience with network administration, server administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity, backups, and user administration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs, identity and access management, and cybersecurity practices.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems independently and develop practical solutions.
• Experience managing IT vendors, projects, budgets, and technology implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
