Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in business systems analysis.
• 1-3 years in a project coordinator, project support, or administrative role.
• 2-5 years working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio, collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams), Co-pilot, generative AI, and project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Engage with the PMO on planning, project execution, managing timelines, and budgets.
• Evaluates methods of improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness of business processes.
• Organizes and leads team meetings; publishes minutes, action items and issues tracking through closure.
• Develop project charters, requirements documents, process models, and user manuals.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance and insights.
• Coordinate tasks, assign work, and monitor progress across the project team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge by attending education workshops, vendor conferences, and training.
• Track issues, risks, and variances, escalating as needed.
• Ensure all project documentation is accounted for based on gate checkpoints.
• Keep PMO calendar and backlog aligned with strategic roadmap.

Job description

The Business Analyst (BA) partners with business stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, define and document business processes, participate in process design, business process optimization and support all phases of software development. The BA must have proven experience coordinating detailed business and operational requirements with corresponding audit controls and implementing process solutions. Ability to work well in a dynamic environment, think creatively, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Works closely with department managers and end-users to define and analyze business and operational problems, process improvement opportunities and requirements.

• Engage with the Project Management Office (PMO) on planning, project execution, managing timelines, and budgets.
• Evaluates methods of improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness of business and operational processes.
• Organizes and leads team meetings as required, publishes minutes, action items and issues tracking through closure.
• Quickly evolves into the Subject Matter Expert (SME) understands and grasps both the operational, functional aspects and end-to-end holistic handoffs.
• May assist in developing training materials, handouts, and desktop procedures.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing product releases, attending vendor user conferences and training
• Coordinate tasks, assign work, and monitor progress across the project team.
• Develop project charters, requirements documents, process models, and user manuals.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance and insights.
• Organize and manage application features, PMO calendar, business process inventory and backlog to meet deadlines based on overall strategic vision and roadmap

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, applying structured methods to evaluate, document, and improve business and system workflows
• 1-3 years in a project coordinator, project support, or administrative role.
• 2-5 years working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio, collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams), Co-pilot, generative AI, and project management methodology/tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).
• Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar) is a plus.
