Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business stakeholders, operational teams, software vendors, and IT. You will analyze processes, define requirements, support system implementations, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise applications within an Agile framework.

You will focus on utility operations systems such as GIS, ADMS, engineering tools, and asset management platforms, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, product/ program management, software development, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and business-critical operational systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams on complex technology initiatives.
• Preferred Utility Industry Experience.

The Business Systems Analyst serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, operational teams, software vendors, and Information Technology. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, defining and managing requirements, supporting system implementations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise applications. Working within an Agile framework, the Business Systems Analyst ensures business systems effectively support operational objectives, maximize business value, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
