A leading company seeks an Information System Security Officer to support government customers in maintaining security standards. This role involves managing security documentation, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Steampunk wants you to be an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) on our team to support a government customer.
In this challenging and rewarding role youll be asked to take initiative, foster organization, responsibility, customer service skills, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, fluid business environment. Youll be asked to communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization and be able to solve practical problems as well as exercise sound judgement with regards to sensitive and confidential information. The primary responsibilities for the position are to support all activities that ensure the level of security documented with the security authorization is maintained at an acceptable level of risk.
In this role, youll be able to be trained and qualify to earn a Cybersecurity Certification such as CISSP, CASP, CISM, CEH, or SSCP within the first six months!

Bachelors Degree in a non-IT field with a total of four (4) years of cybersecurity experience, including three (3) years of FISMA experience;
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
