Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join their team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ISSM is responsible for overseeing comprehensive information security operations to maintain the Firm’s security posture. They will manage security-related projects, collaborate across the firm, and balance security strategies with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Firm’s information security program.
• Provide guidance to management on security objectives and governance.
• Participate in security planning and advise on compliance and metrics.
• Develop maturity models and stay updated on security issues and regulations.
• Coordinate security requirements with IT teams and track compliance.
• Develop security policies and monitor controls for compliance.
• Evaluate security controls and work with audit teams.
• Collaborate with IT and administrative leaders on security issues.
• Manage security education programs and respond to security incidents.
• Supervise the Incident Management Analysis Team and serve as acting DIS if needed.
• Assess risks and monitor security standards.
• Evaluate the impact of new technologies on security.

Requirements

• Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Minimum an associate’s degree in a related field.
• At least five years of security experience, including two in leadership roles.
• Experience with practice management and electronic discovery systems.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and current security trends.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and creative.
