Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer to support US Space Force and Space Systems Command missions. The role emphasizes RMF, eMASS, SSPs, SARs, and related artifacts to ensure rigorous cybersecurity compliance.

You will collaborate with the ISSM and ISO, maintain RMF artifacts, perform annual reviews, and contribute to risk assessments while supporting IPTs across mission-focused teams.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree with 4–6 years IT/RMF/GRC and leadership; Master's equivalent allowed.
• Meets DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Analyst Mid-Level qualifications.
• Reports to designated work location in Colorado Springs up to full time.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RMF artifacts and eMASS/ITIPS as required.
• Review and update Security Plans, Security Assessment Plans, and POA&M.
• Identify and maintain RMF artifacts per policy and plans.
• Ensure accurate system documentation and configuration logs.
• Provide security evaluations and risk assessments quarterly.
