Job Title: Information Systems Security Engineer I

Location: Philadelphia, PA (supporting NSWCPD contract)

Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annually

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Travel: Up to 25%

Security Clearance: Secret

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support system security/IA plans and controls under guidance, following standards such as DIACAP, RMF, NIST 800-53, and others.
• Manage Security Plans through the eMASS workflow and RMF process.
• Review audit events, coordinate incident responses, and ensure compliance with DoD IA requirements.
• Develop and review technical documentation, procedures, and schematics.
• Provide status updates to the Project Manager and collaborate with systems engineers and security personnel to meet security requirements.
• Assist ISSMs in their duties, perform control assessments, and support the DoDEA ISCM program.
• Evaluate the need for system reaccreditation following significant changes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency with DISA STIG procedures, ACAS, HBSS, SCAP, and network scanning tools.
• Current DoD IAM Certification and active SECRET clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with FISMA compliance and requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years in designing and integrating computer systems and networks.
