Primary duty

The Application Engineer I is responsible for providing foundational technical support for enterprise ERP platforms such as Oracle Fusion, UKG Dimensions, and related systems. Operating under the supervision of the immediate supervisor and department director, this role supports the implementation and maintenance of business solutions through a structured change management process. Responsibilities include requirement gathering, process design, development, testing, documentation, promotion, and solution maintenance. The role also involves using vendor-provided tools to develop reports and dashboards, manage integrations, configure flex fields and fast formulas, maintain system security, and perform data extraction and loading tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field and two years of application/systemsupport experience. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Experience with Oracle Fusion components including security configuration, reporting, data extraction, fast formulas, flex fields, and dashboards is preferred.

•Hands-on experience with ERP platforms with a focus on functional support and technical implementation.

•Background in gathering and documenting user and system requirements.

•Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues effectively.

•Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other productivity tools such as Word and PowerPoint.

•Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage assignments independently.

•Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and systems.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical concepts.

•Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
