Job summary

Nokia IT Systems Engineer in Allentown, PA joins the User Support team to provide hands-on IT support for manufacturing and engineering, including device deployment, endpoint administration, test systems, network connectivity, and hardware lifecycle management to ensure reliable business operations.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage incidents with SLA, and support Windows, Office, AD, printers, and collaboration tools while documenting solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in desktop support or end-user IT support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Active Directory, and laptop deployment processes.
  • Experience with laptop hardware repair and component replacement.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Experience supporting printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support for employees and manufacturing operations in Allentown.

  • Diagnose and repair laptops, recover data, and perform basic hardware component replacement.
  • Manage incidents from initial investigation through resolution, ensuring SLA compliance.

  • Support Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Office applications, file and print services, and business applications.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing printers, barcode printers, and scanners.
  • Support conference room audio/video systems and Microsoft Teams phones.
  • Manage device-related tasks in Active Directory and assist with password resets and account unlocks.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates and technical documentation.
