Title: Information System Technician I

Base Salary Range: $45,760 - $50,000 plus benefits

FTE: Full-Time - Non-Exempt

General Summary: Under the direction of the IT Supervisor, the Information Systems Technician I provides hardware and software maintenance, training, consultation, and recommendations for future planning and development of resources. Responsible for providing IT help desk support for over 200 users across 10 clinics. The ideal candidate will perform some of the following essential duties:

  1. Administers systems and servers related to organization LAN and WAN (e.g., email system, accounts, print queue, workstation ID, IP assignments, office computers) to ensure service availability.
  2. Assesses hardware and software malfunctions to determine appropriate actions for maintaining computer operations.
  3. Assists in selecting and installing computers and network equipment to meet organizational needs.
  4. Installs computer equipment, network software, and hardware on various platforms for upgrading and maintenance.
  5. Procures equipment, supplies, and materials to maintain availability and efficiency.
  6. Utilizes ticket tracking system to monitor activities and communication.
  7. Works closely with senior IT staff and escalates issues as necessary.
  8. Provides problem resolution and support for end users and team members.
  9. Prioritizes and troubleshoots second-level support calls.
  10. Provides onsite field support as needed.
  11. Guides staff through basic computer tasks.
  12. Monitors critical systems using RMM and other tools.
  13. Assists with documentation of network diagrams and checklists.

Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Certified Network System Administrator.
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Good written, oral, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Highly organized and effective teamwork skills.
