Job summary

Summit Federal Services, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer to provide support at the CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. This position requires the candidate to possess at least one DoD-approved baseline certification and to provide proof of a Computing Environment certification.

Responsibilities include assessing and mitigating risks, performing compliance audits, and developing accreditation documentation. All work will be performed onsite.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain at least one active DoD-approved baseline certification upon hire.
• Must provide proof of Computing Environment certification on day one.
• Experience with accreditation, certification, and authorization processes.

Information System Security Officer – CBL Battle Lab Facility

We are looking for an Information System Security Officer to provide support to the CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. All work will be performed onsite.

• Baseline certification: upon hire must already possess (and be maintaining) at least one active DoD‑approved baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC² Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), GSLC, or CISSP.
• Computing Environment (CE) certification: on day one must provide proof of certification as either ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
• Knowledge of and experience supporting DoD systems accreditation, certification, and authorization processes (e.g., DIACAP, RMF).
• Skill at assessing & mitigating risk in information systems; performing compliance auditing; developing and maintaining DoD information systems accreditation documentation; and coordinating & leading configuration control board activities.
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
