Our Civil Design Group is seeking a talented individual responsible for preparing plans from engineering sketches and details, and planning sheet layouts.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to prepare drawings using CAD software.
• Make engineering computations and revise specifications for adaptations and modifications.
• Perform quality control corrections on contract drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Update CAD files according to client standards.
• Prepare exhibits for reports, public meetings, or presentations.

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-15 years of experience in civil, utility, highway design, or related engineering fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or REVIT.
• Knowledge of design and drafting procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Technical training in computer-aided drafting.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer, Geopak, InRoads, and 3D modeling.
• Experience developing highway construction plans.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools is beneficial.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a general office environment. The role is primarily sedentary with occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, with no hazardous conditions.
