Par Health seeks an Information Specialist to support multiple departments with reference services, literature searches, and training. You will manage resources for Gx and SI divisions, assist with regulatory and pharmacovigilance documentation, and improve knowledge infrastructure across sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration, initiative, and strong data management, with opportunities to influence R&D, quality, and compliance processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in natural or physical sciences is required.
Master’s in library and information science is preferred.
Experience in a library or as a research/editorial assistant or in GMP areas.
Project management experience is preferred.
Knowledge of online resource licensing and copyright guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide access to literature across platforms using established workflows.
Maintain metadata in Presto ILS and internal knowledge databases.
Support literature procurement, access, and organization to meet bibliography requirements.
Complete citations using bibliographic tools as needed.
Assist with online resource renewals, management, and access.
Troubleshoot online journal/resource access.
Acquire and process information resources per business needs.
Monitor and report journal/resource usage data.
Manage long-term storage of company files via Iron Mountain.
Educate employees on library services and resources.
