Job summary

Health Advances is seeking a full-time Information Specialist to join the Knowledge Management team in Newton, MA. You will assist project teams with secondary research and help grow our proprietary knowledge base, leveraging a broad range of healthcare resources to tailor results to project objectives.

You will collaborate with project and business development teams, proactively identifying resources, and supporting multiple regions, including San Francisco, Zug, and Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library/Information Science or equivalent education/experience
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare information services, marketing, business development, or knowledge management
• Interest in healthcare and ability to develop expertise in a complex area
• Strong research, sourcing, and literature evaluation skills
• Experience with competitive intelligence databases and public/government resources

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with secondary research and literature support
• Survey internal and external resources to tailor results for projects
• Advise project teams on relevant resources and tools
• Support one or more business development teams
• Contribute to building and maintaining Health Advances’ knowledge base
• Describe and tag content to improve information discovery
• Work with teams across Newton, MA, San Francisco, Zug, and Hong Kong
• Provide training and disseminate current awareness materials
