South Dakota State University (SDState) is currently seeking an Information Specialist to join our Animal Science department. This position will play a critical role in the department’s three primary missions which are learning, discovery, and engagement. Tomorrow’s animal and natural resources industry leaders gain the educational foundation they need in the Department of Animal Science. With our multidisciplinary approaches toward production efficiency, product enhancement and natural resources management, both our undergraduate and our graduate students gain strong skill sets.

This position will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and developing Animal Science Department informational communications following university and department guidelines, meeting required deadlines as well as providing vital administrative services for faculty, staff, and students.
