The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Security Operations team seeks an Information Security Specialist 2 to join a mission-critical program affecting statewide operations. You will guide security tools and processes across Delivery Centers and enterprise systems, influencing risk reduction and information availability.

Responsibilities include oversight of security infrastructure, firewall and access management, incident response support, and technical guidance to implement enterprise security

Qualifications

• One year as an Information Security Specialist 1 or equivalent.
• Three years IT security experience or a combination with degrees.
• Two+ years of full-time professional experience troubleshooting Enterprise networks.
• Residency requirement for PA and CJIS/compliance basics.

Responsibilities

• Security Infrastructure Oversight: Direct security hardware and software across Delivery Centers and enterprise operations.
• Firewall and Access Management: Manage firewall tools and remote access solutions that support secure connectivity.
• Incident Response Support: Coordinate steps that limit misuse of information and reduce denial of service risks.
• Technical Guidance: Assist Delivery Centers in meeting business needs while following enterprise security policies.
• Administrative Management: Provide support for planning, design, and administration of security operations solutions.
