Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an Information Security Specialist to join their team. This is a contract position focused on cloud migration and automation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive the transition of Static Application Security Testing (SAST) infrastructure from on-premises to SaaS platforms and migrate teams to new Open Source Analysis (OSA) solutions
- Update, reconfigure, and test CI/CD build jobs to seamlessly integrate application security tools
- Support and configure Docker containers, HELM charts, Rancher, and related cloud services
- Write Java, Groovy, and Python scripts to automate routine support tasks and optimize overall processes
- Assist developer teams with scan onboarding and troubleshoot complex pipeline integration issues
- Create comprehensive documentation to enable developer self-service and streamline onboarding
- Support technical investigations and participate in security incident response while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of experience implementing application security guardrails, including specialized knowledge of securing AI-driven applications
- 5+ years of hands‑on security engineering experience leading initiatives to improve enterprise application security posture
- 4+ years of experience configuring and migrating SAST, SCA, and DAST tools
- 3+ years of experience managing Docker containers, HELM charts, and Rancher infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience building, updating, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- 3+ years of hands‑on scripting and development experience using Java, Python, Groovy, and Gradle
- 2+ years of experience migrating security services and configuring tools within AWS, Azure, or other Cloud/SaaS environments
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Proven experience identifying and mitigating architectural security flaws through threat modeling practices
- Prior experience working within the financial services industry and navigating strict compliance and security requirements
- Deep experience developing automation workflows that eliminate manual ticketing and operational bottlenecks
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise tool migrations across thousands of active developer repositories

Work Environment
Location: Hub Location (Preference for Charlotte, NC; Irving, TX; or Minneapolis, MN)
Work Model: Hybrid
Schedule: 2 days a week onsite with no fully remote option
Compensation & Benefits
The approximate pay range for this position is between $46.00 and $67.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
