Job summary

MARS Solutions Group is seeking an energetic Information Security Manager IAM to strengthen our Identity & Access Management program. You will lead security, governance, and compliance efforts, work with SailPoint IdentityIQ, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and operational effectiveness.

The role offers a hybrid work model (4 days onsite / 1 day remote) in Des Moines, IA, with relocation assistance provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years managing security projects or developing security policies.
• Strong understanding of IAM, SSO, MFA, PAM, lifecycle management, and access provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM initiatives focused on security, governance, and compliance.
• Evaluate IAM processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain SOX compliance requirements.
• Work with IAM technologies, especially SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Manage access provisioning, entitlements, and lifecycle processes.
• Implement automation to optimize IAM operations.
• Partner with cyber, IT, audit, and business teams on IAM needs.

We re looking for an energetic, driven Information Security Manager IAM who is passionate about cybersecurity, identity management, governance, and compliance.
In this role, you ll help strengthen our Identity & Access Management program by ensuring compliance with SOX controls, evaluating existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance both security and operational effectiveness.
This is a great opportunity for an IAM professional who understands the technical side of identity and access management while also being comfortable working with security policies, controls, governance, and cross-functional teams.
Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

What You ll Do

• Lead and support IAM initiatives focused on security, governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness
• Evaluate existing IAM processes, policies, methodologies, and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support and maintain compliance with SOX controls and requirements
• Work with Identity & Access Management technologies, particularly SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Manage and improve processes related to entitlements, provisioning, and access management
• Support identity lifecycle management, including onboarding, changes, and access removal
• Work with SSO, MFA, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
• Partner with cybersecurity, IT, application, audit, and business teams to address IAM and compliance requirements
• Manage multiple IAM projects and initiatives while ensuring timely delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve IAM operations through automation and process optimization
• Help develop and review security policies, methodologies, standards, and procedures
• Contribute to broader cybersecurity initiatives beyond IAM as needed
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5 10 years of experience managing security-related projects and/or developing and reviewing security policies, methodologies, and procedures
• Strong understanding of:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • SSO and MFA
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Access provisioning and entitlement management
• Extensive experience with access management platforms such as SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
• Familiarity with SOX controls and compliance requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience with CyberArk
• Knowledge of SAML and OAuth
• Experience with IAM/security automation technologies
• Broader cybersecurity experience outside of IAM
• Experience leading projects or managing people
• Experience improving IAM processes and operational controls
