Job summary

Alchelyst is seeking an Information Security Lead to own and strengthen our security posture across cloud and on-premise components. You will lead security operations, policies, and vendor management, shaping strategy as the first dedicated security hire.

The role partners with engineering and external security firms, driving pragmatic, risk-based security improvements for a distributed, multi-location workforce. This is a high-impact, growth-focused position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security with hands-on security operations experience.
• Experience in regulated financial services or fund administration is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with managing external security partners and multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Comfortable operating in modern cloud environments and with a distributed/mobile workforce.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of security improvements across cloud infrastructure, identity, and integration layers.
• Run technical security operations: monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and access reviews.
• Maintain and evolve security policies and standards and drive adoption across engineering and vendor teams.
• Manage the security vendor ecosystem and third-party advisory, testing, and remediation activities.
