Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security identity services that scale with the business. You will drive identity security controls across cloud environments and partner with multiple teams to secure digital assets.

Ideal candidates have extensive cloud security, IAM, and automation experience, plus the ability to mentor engineers and operate in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software or security engineering within Cloud Native environments.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, or GCP IAM).
• Proficiency in identity standards and federation protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP/Directory Services).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and scripting (Python or PowerShell).
• Experience managing service accounts, API keys, bots, and automated workload identities.

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of security strategies and solutions.
• Design and deploy advanced identity security controls for networks, systems, and apps.
• Collaborate across disciplines to shape security services strategy and execution.
• Set and uphold standards for security processes to support high-quality engineering.
• Mentor and empower new engineers to perform at their best.
