Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking an Information Security Lead – AI & Emerging Technology to embed security into DevOps and cloud practices. You will design secure architectures across Azure and AWS, implement security tooling in CI/CD, and contribute to AI security strategy.

The role requires hands-on cloud security expertise and collaboration with engineering teams. The position is full-time, contract‑oriented, with hybrid work options and no relocation benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on cloud security engineering experience.
• Proficient in Azure, Azure Policy, and related cloud governance tooling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and secure DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and IaC deployments.
• Design and maintain Azure Policies and guardrails for compliance and drift detection.
• Develop secure cloud configurations using Azure services and secure networking patterns.
• Contribute to threat modeling and defensible cloud architectures.
• Collaborate to implement AI-specific security controls.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments and align with policy requirements.
• Support detection and response teams with cloud/DevOps security insights.
