Salary Range: $16.90 – $17.00 per hour

Hours: Up to 19 hours per week

Position Summary

The Information Security Student Assistant supports the Information Security team in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the university’s data and systems. This role involves assisting with conducting security assessments and providing support for security‑related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department (InfoSec team) in routine operational responsibilities, such as incident response and analysis, policy violations and others.
• Quickly assess and filter incident information from a variety of sources.
• Write accurate and concise communications.
• Work in conjunction with the InfoSec team to provide support regarding IT security questions, concerns, and issues, professionally responding to customer feedback and inquiries.

Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications
