What We Do

We are responsible for supporting the Information Security awareness program initiatives, including protecting information and systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, inspection, recording, or destruction. A key function of this role involves managing Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools.

What You'll Do
  1. Participate in identifying business process requirements and related solutions for specific needs.
  2. Provide training and support directly to customers as needed.
  3. Identify problems, research solutions, prepare presentations, test and implement solutions for defined processes.
  4. Create documentation of technical security requirements and functions.
  5. Generate reports, analyze data, and identify trends for management.
  6. Manage small to medium-scale projects or phases of larger projects under supervision.
  7. Maintain high-quality time and task entries to enable automated capacity planning.
  8. Conduct risk assessments by interviewing internal and external stakeholders to understand security and compliance needs.
  9. Support development and business teams regarding risks of new or changing technologies.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new knowledge into work activities.
  11. Participate in evaluating and selecting new technologies.
  12. Resolve security issues across various platforms and services.
  13. Perform duties outside normal hours based on business needs.
  14. Handle moderate scope problems, analyzing various factors to determine appropriate actions.
  15. Exercise judgment within established procedures to make decisions.
  16. Follow department processes, making recommendations for improvements.
  17. Work independently, setting priorities and objectives; work reviewed for judgment and accuracy.
  18. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within and between departments.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security.
  • At least 2 years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, firewalls (Checkpoint, PIX, CISCO), NAC, identity management, and encryption technologies.
  • CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, CCNP certifications preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, firewall design and implementation, Cisco router access control, WANs, LANs, network protocols, and services like telnet, ftp, intrusion detection, VPN, and two-factor authentication.
  • Experience implementing security technologies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience with Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools, such as Alert Logic.
  • Ability to define security strategies and integrate technologies into corporate frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $65,550 - $87,375 Annually

This range is an estimate and may vary based on education, experience, and location.
